    Default Step Pulses per second?

How many step pulses can TurboCNC be reasonably expected to generate on a 486/66, and how about on a PII 933?

I am about to choose between the G320 and G340 Gecko drives and want to be sure I can take full advantage of my servos max RPM. My motors are rated at 2600 RPM with 250 cpr encoders. That equates to 10,800 pulses per second. Is that reasonable?

    Thanks,
    Tim T

On a p 166 I was getting 18,000 hz no problem. Turbocnc reported a 24,000 hz max. My AMD 400 Turbocnc reports 18,000 hz max but I have run at up to 25,000 hz.

Install Turbocnc. It will calculate and report the max hz possible at startup. It is reported that this number is conservative.

    I wish it wouldn't crash.
